Taking the demanding job of mayor in stride In the years that Mike Simpson has been the mayor of Frisco, the position has changed along with the city. Simpson has become the face of Frisco, a job that has grown in time consumption, mimicking the growth of the city. He and his wife Sandy estimated that the mayoral duties take up between 40 to 55 hours a week.
